Widely used throughout Australia & New Zealand as the “Bible” of the Parquet & Speciality Wood Floor Industry.  This publication is used by key Engineers, Designers, Architects & other specifiers in parts of the U.S.A. & Asia.

EUROPE

As a Licensee of the Swiss Parquet Manufacturing Group  BAUWERK AG,  Mr Swindale has been schooled in Europe by Bauwerk’s  extensive network of Manufacturers, Marketing and Installation Companies located throughout both Europe and North America.

NORTH AMERICA

Through Bauwerk’s largest licence anywhere in the world, Mr Swindale was introduced to the HARRIS Manufacturing Company of Johnstone City Tennessee where Mr Alan Harris Jr  provided training and introduction to the most qualified Wood Floor Mechanics in both Canada and the U.S.A.

Among the most significant of the professional associations this formed, was a lifelong association with Mr Andy Anderson one of the oldest and most respected personalities in the American Wood Floor Industry.

Andy Anderson as the principal of the ANDERSON LADD Company is the person primarily responsible for installing Wood Floor Systems into some of the most significant public buildings in America today.

Those buildings historically include the South Bend Indiana Building in which the Spitfire Engines were made for Britain during WW11 in which Mr Anderson was responsible for hundreds of railroad cars of timber being freighted into South Bend from all over America and where Anderson made history in bringing this significant war effort building in, way ahead of schedule while establishing a unique black & white combined workforce team on this project.

The Chicago Post Office is but one of hundreds of other major projects executed by the Anderson Ladd Company whose history is still legendary in the American Wood floor Industry today.

Andy Anderson was the inventor of the ”Air-Thrust” Pneumatic Sports Hall Flooring System, for which Mr Anderson gave the rights to Swindale to operate in Australasia and elsewhere.

The rapport established between Anderson & Swindale (whom Anderson looked upon almost as a grandson) was such that Mr Anderson “authorised” Mr Swindale to establish an Australian Patent upon his invention of the “Air-Thrust” Pneumatic Flooring System in those regions in which Swindale operates.

Mr Swindale’s knowledge and expertise in a wide range of Wood Floor Systems was through the knowledge and experience and broad industry contacts established through Mr Andy Anderson and his extensive network of expert wood floor mechanics and contractors.

AUSTRALIA

In Australia Mr Swindale’s knowledge, training and expertise was acquired alongside his long serving Installation Manager  Mr James Rankin.

James Rankin had for many years been both Wood Floor Contractor to, and Contracts Manager for, the then George Hudson Limited’s Wood Floor Division.

James Rankin, 30 years the senior of Mr Swindale, formed a close professional relationship with Swindale that saw the George Hudson Parquetry Flooring Group, under the ownership of the Swindale family, achieve some outstanding achievements in Wood  Floor Construction in many major public buildings in all Australian States.

Among the other outstanding and most well know of the George Hudson Wood Floor experts was Installation Manager Alex (Sandy) Mabberly with whom Mr Swindale also undertook installation works in both Asia and Saudi Arabia.
